How fluent in English are your virtual professionals?

Each applicant is required to submit an audio recording introducing themselves and to take an English test to ensure they can speak, write and understand English. Do I get to have the final say in which virtual professional I get?

Yes! After we source an applicant pool for your role, we typically present you with 3 – 4 candidates to interview so that you can get to know their background and personality more. But don’t worry! We never provide candidates to interview whom we aren’t extremely confident that you’ll like! If you don’t like working with one of our professionals, we quickly find a replacement to support your role.

Do I need to provide a computer or other office equipment for my virtual professional?

All our professionals have a computer, printer, office space, Microsoft 365 Suite and/or Google Workspace, and internet service that meet our quality standards. In addition, PillarVP offers a time management software system for all its professionals to use to provide a detailed account of all hours worked. If your company has specific software, such as a CRM, accounting system, etc., you will need to provide them professional company access. Also, if you require the professional to handle inbound and/or outbound calling, then you would need to provide access to your VOIP phone system.

What level of education do your virtual professionals have?

Almost all our professionals have bachelor’s degrees or more from accredited universities, but sometimes we source amazing candidates with years of experience in their field who have proven expertise without a degree.

How much should I expect to pay for a professional from PillarVP?

Pricing depends on the required professional’s expertise, experience, and skill set for your company specific role.

Here’s a general breakdown of hourly rates based on the level of expertise:

  • $8-10 USD/hour – Entry level, 1-2 years of experience
  • $11-13 USD/hour – Intermediate level, 3-5+ years of experience
  • $14+ USD/hour – Expert level, 5-7+ years of experience

For some more advanced skill set positions the hourly rates may be higher. During the initial discovery call we can provide a better cost estimate once we know the exact expertise, experience and skill set you require. 

Is there a minimum number of hours or days I can hire someone for?

The minimum number of hours you can hire a professional for is 20 hours of work per week or 80 hours of work per month.

How do I hire someone from PillarVP?

First, please tell us about your business by filling out a short survey and schedule a discovery call. Next, our recruitment experts will meet with you to better understand your needs. We’ll then select and present 3–4 top candidates for you to interview. Once you choose the best candidate, your new virtual professional will be ready to start. 

Who will train my professional and tell them what they should work on?

Once approved for hire, PillarVP conducts an initial 3-hour onboarding session. This onboarding ensures the professional is fully prepared to begin working with the client. However, just like when you hire a regular employee, they’ll need to go through your training and on-boarding to understand your business, processes, and expectations.
